Eid Holidays in Colombo …

Near World Trade Center ... Colombo ...
Hello …
Took a break and went to colombo for Eid holidays …
Met up with some friends there …
Did some much needed catching up with them …
After some visits to the hospitals …
(Yeah, am not feeling that good these days) …
Wanted to go outta colombo for some outings …
Plans were drenched by terrible weather …
It was like pouring non-stop for days …
Some parts of the country were flooded and people evacuated …
Even main roads were flooded and traffic was jammed …
On the way to the airport …
Was stuck in stand-still traffic for a solid hour and a half …
Just barely made it to the check-in counter before they closed …
It also helped that i called the airline about the delay …
All in all, a good trip … but could’ve been better …
Well … may be next time … hehe …

      Thanks for stopping by. The first picture was Reef Side. The second was something I took off the net. Not sure which country. But it is the norm in India and Nepal. You would probably know how it is in Sri Lanka. I think compared to the current streets of Male’, having to install shutters such as this would look very sad.
