Hello …
I visited a friend’s place after a long time …
The place had changed a bit … for good perhaps …
And there was excitement in the air …
My friend had bought a pet bird that night …
And everyone was gathering around to watch …
Kudos to anyone who guess how much he paid …
A whopping MRF 45,000/- … for a baby
Macaw …
That went nicely into his collection I guess …
Coz he had Cockatiel, Lovebirds and a kewl African Grey …
I can understand the love for pets … especially birds …
I know it may be rewarding and therapeutic at times …
But I seriously can’t understand this…
How anyone can be ready to pay this kinda cash …
To buy a bird and the responsibility of taking care of it …
I guess people are different … eh ?

saddens me to see such lovely creatures in cages… still don’t think that’s price enough to take away its freedom

yea, thats exactly what i keep saying too. ppl spend so much on useless trivial stuff. maybe it means alot to the guy and maybe he gets more than enough thru his own work and income. i dont mind then. its his work, his salary and his choice of spending. he then has a right to spend it any way he wants to. even if to us it may seem useless spending
