… and i was born years before today … Happy Birthday …
So … another year has just zipped past me …
Hell … i could’ve sworn it couldn’t have been 12 months …
But it HAS been 12 months … and a lot has changed …
Anyways … I have this tendency each birthday …
To ask myself … is this where i saw myself at the age …
The answer is a bit of YES … and whole lot NO …
There have been certain things i wanted to do …
But they just haven’t happened yet … same old same old …
Too much expectations … hence too much disappointment …
May be those things didn’t happen for a bigger reason …
May be i’ve to like … come to terms with …
Disallow false hope … and accept certain truths …
So I’m thinking maybe I should make a resolution this time ..
I procrastinate … I sometimes work in long irregular spurts …
So … I resolve to develop more sensible work habits …
A wiser man once told me something like …
“Beware … the frivolity of ambitions not actualized” …
Still haven’t been able to wrap my mind around that completely …
Often people have this thing that they do …
When nothing seems to be working for them …
Mine has always been TV and reading … I need more …
