here begineth the site re-design bender …
A little over two weeks ago …
I was messing with my blog a bit …
And just got tired of staring at the the old green theme …
Especially the Dragonfly on the header …
So i set out to change the theme of the blog …
I tested out several themes last two weeks …
You may have noticed some wierd themes on my blog then … hehe …
But nothing i tested out held my fancy for long …
That is until i stumbled upon my friend
Muard’s blog …
I immediately knew what i wanted to do …
And yes it was a bit more than what i needed to do … hehe …
So i ended up doing a lot more than changing the theme …
I wanted my blog to be aesthetically pleasing …
And functional with an easy to use interface …
I also wanted a modern look with a bit of Ajax thrown in …
I’m guessing this ain’t gonna easy for me for two reasons …
One … I am no techie … and i can’t code to save a life …
Two … a design becomes redundant after a given time …
But i’ll give it a shot … lets see how it turns out …

It looks good! I’ve seen this theme about before, and I always loved it.
The only thing is, could you make the text in these comments fields a little darker? I can barely read what I’ve written. (Which means I blame any spelling mistakes on you.
)
The theme looks fine I think. For me, the recent comments and latest posts modules look kinda messy. How about using some bullets? Just a thought.

Long time eh? Here’s my 2 cents worth on your new design.
1. There are too many little icons it distracts me.
2. The comments are confusing. Difficult to figure out whether the comment is above the name or below. Perhaps you could say “Superman wrote..” Or put the comment above the commenter name. The on-off colouring doesn’t work.
3. I agree with Nass. Bullet the sidebar items. I need to do this on my own blog too.
4. The name of the previous post after the commenting boxes is small and insignificant. Perhaps you could let the reader know that it IS the previous post instead of having just the title there.
5. The little pullout box with the “would you like to share this” is enough. Remove the redundant links to the bookmarking systems below each post. Or just keep one. Whichever you prefer. Just too many “share this” links all over man!
6. Remove the “By subcorpus” line in post info unless you will feature guest writers.
7. Add my blog to Blogs I read.

1) the little icons r good … gives me sense of intricate-ness …
this is what i get off to brother … hehehe …

5) I feel you man … its a weak attemp on my side to make my this work of mine called a blog a little more popular … you know … more visitors … but i feel you … i’ll get rid of the services i’ve never heard of … how about that ? hehehe …
6) Whats wrong with by subcorpus … u dont wanna be reminded that i wrote this … especially coz its my blog and am the only one who writes stuff here … hehe …

overall i like the theme
and i love the quote thingie on the side of this post.
PS: and i think it would look better if the whole thing (template/theme) was centered rather than it being on the left side.
