have been watching a new TV series …
Its called
six degrees … its kinda kewl …
its about six people living in new york city …
And their connection to one another …
Its based on famous idea of
six degrees of separation …
Six degrees of separation refers to the idea that …
if a person is one step away from each person he or she knows …
and two steps away from each person who is known by …
one of the people he or she knows, then everyone is …
an average of six “steps” away from each person on Earth …
I like how the story is unraveling … sometimes unpredictably …
How seemingly strangers are connected … and why …
How people become friends … and how relationships are born …
Too bad its a short lived series … with only a
few episodes …
But I liked it anyways … don’t really know why … hehe …
May be cos we live in a city … where we all know most people …
May be coz it harder to find a stranger here … than a friend …

Six degrees of separation is certainly an amusing idea but subsequent investigations into the “theory” have shown that it fails, miserably and that even the original research showed that it didn’t work! Would be pretty cool if it were true though
