The iPhone is a great video and music player - with phone capability just for name sake.

We always seem to have an attachment to Nokia. I personally don't like Symbian OS though, seems too feature limited with few community applications.

Why not go for the Android?

The Nokia E71 is a better bet than an iPhone if not for the period syncing issues to macs... it's not the Nokia OS but Mac OSX. I used a Nokia E61i prior.

hey.. I had the same issue before with my Iphone. But I managed to come up with my own solvency to it.

There should be a number template file located somewhere inside the phones firmware. So you need to find a way to get your hands on a fully downloaded raw firmware file and extract the files out of it.

Find the numbertemplate file... and there are lot of forums explaining how number templates are derived in such files for different countries.

You could try getting youself inside the OS files on your phone and look for the file(s) regarding the number templating.

If it was an Iphone I could have given a step by step guide.. but since I never touched that phone.. I dont know for sure. But I am pretty sure that its gonna be like the way I just said. So google your way throug.. I am sure you will find something. least now you know how to take your approach.

Hope you do fine.. laterz!

I do face the +960 issue too. So far didn't try to fix it. Will have to see what options are there. Apart from that E71 is a cool phone. I use SIP (voip) on it too.
